Creation of Visuals for an Instagram Carousel – Recycling Day (CCOG)

Samir Mathieu

To promote this initiative and raise awareness among a wider audience, an Instagram carousel was designed to showcase the students' experience, share key facts about recycling, and remind of the 3R rule: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

On the occasion of Recycling Day, the Communauté de Communes de l’Ouest Guyanais (CCOG) organized a meeting with CM2 students from the Amayota school in Apatou.
Two agents from the Circular Economy service within the Waste Prevention and Management Directorate (DPGD) conducted a session on March 18 to raise children's awareness about the future of our waste. This educational action was complemented on March 19 by a visit to the Colibri ecopole in Saint-Laurent du Maroni, where students discovered the transformation and recovery of collected waste.

• Creation of an educational Instagram carousel to sequentially narrate the Recycling Day experienced by the students
• Graphic design adapted for digital use, consistent with the CCOG's visual identity and optimized for smooth reading on smartphones
• Illustration of key messages (3R rule, notable figures such as aluminum can recycling) with a clear and visually attractive layout
• Promotion of the CCOG's environmental commitment, making the actions undertaken in the territory accessible and engaging
• Strengthening institutional communication through engaging content designed to inform, raise awareness, and reach a wide online audience
