Your first steps with PixConsent.
App Store → Download → Create your account with Apple ID or email. 2-minute onboarding to configure your studio (name, logo, default language).
Tap + → Project name → Date → QR duration (24h to 1 year). The QR is generated, ready to print or display on your iPhone.
The model scans your QR. The web page opens on their phone, in their language. They fill in name + email + sign + selfie. The PDF arrives directly in your app within 5 seconds.

Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes. PixConsent is built GDPR-native: hard-delete by default, opt-in cloud, Frankfurt hosting, withdrawal right available anytime from the app. The generated PDF includes all required legal mentions (purposes, retention period, signer rights).
Does the signer have to install an app?
No. They scan your QR code and the web page opens directly in their browser. Mobile-first, works on iOS, Android, desktop. No account to create either.
What if I shoot offline?
The app works 100% offline. Generate the QR, the model signs, the PDF is created locally. Cloud sync (if you have Team/Agency) happens automatically when wifi returns.
How long is a QR valid?
Your choice: 24h (one-shot event), 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year. For a wedding, we recommend 1 month (so latecomers can sign). For a school, 3 months.
Is it legally enforceable?
The PDF is eIDAS-compliant at the 'simple electronic signature' level (article 25 of the European regulation). Sufficient for 99% of photo use cases (release form is not a notarized act). The selfie + timestamp + verification QR strengthen evidentiary value.
What if the signer is a minor?
PixConsent handles parental consent: the QR automatically requests the signature of the legal representative (one or two parents, depending on your settings). Typical use case: school photography.
Is my data with you?
No, by default. Free and Pro plans = 100% local storage on your iPhone (nothing on our side, ever). Team and Agency plans = end-to-end encrypted cloud storage on Firebase eur3 (Frankfurt), only to allow sync between your team.
What happens when I delete a project?
Hard-delete by default: everything is erased immediately, no 'recycle bin'. If you want to archive instead of delete, it's an explicit action with a red warning.
Can I customize the PDF with my logo?
Yes, from the Agency plan (€24.99/month). Upload your logo + color, the generated PDF is branded to your studio.
How do I cancel my subscription?
From your Apple account, in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → PixConsent. You keep access until the end of the paid period. No cancellation penalty.
