Privacy and personal data
DocNomi processes your documents on your Mac and collects no data. This page explains what that means in practice, and describes the one small thing kept outside the app: the free-trial counter.

Privacy policy
What we collect
Nothing. Your documents, their pages, the text read from them and the suggested names never leave your Mac. There is no account, no sign-up and no server of ours. The App Store listing says so: "Data Not Collected".
How your documents are read
DocNomi uses Apple's text recognition (Vision) and Apple's AI model built into the system. Both run on the device: no online service is called to read your pages or suggest names, neither ours nor anyone else's.
The free-trial counter
To count your two free runs, DocNomi keeps a tiny counter in your iCloud Keychain: a few bytes saying how many runs you've used, with no content, file name or text. It is stored and synced by Apple, encrypted, and we have no access to it. It stays in your Keychain even if you delete the app, so the free runs don't start over.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase go through the App Store. Apple handles payment under its own privacy policy; we never receive your name, email address or payment details.
What we don't do
No ads, no trackers, no third-party SDKs, no analytics, no profiling. DocNomi only opens the files you give it, and only saves new files where you choose, after your review. Your originals are never changed.
Your rights
Access, correct, erase
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing to send you or erase on our side. The files DocNomi creates stay where you saved them, and they're yours to do with as you like.
Deleting the app
Deleting DocNomi doesn't touch the files you created. Its settings stay on your Mac and are never sent. The free-trial counter stays in your iCloud Keychain; it only holds a number.

If an answer doesn't satisfy you, you can contact the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority, or the authority in your country.
